Sticking With GOD

"I'll never forget the trouble, the utter lostness, the taste of ashes, the poison I've swallowed. I remember it all-oh, how well I remember-the feeling of hitting the bottom. But there's one other thing I remember, and remembering, I keep a grip on hope. God's loyal love couldn't have run out, his merciful love couldn't have dried up. They're created new every morning. How great Your faithfulness! I'm sticking with GOD (I say it over and over again). He's all I've got left." Lamentations 3:19-24
The Message

I do not know about you, but I have hit rock bottom during my life. I have felt despair and total loss and in those times my Heavenly Father has been the only thing I had left. He never abandoned me. He stuck with me through it all. I thank HIM for patiently and lovingly scooping me up, dusting me off, and helping me to begin anew.

Sticking with GOD,

Andrea

  3. I love that version from The Message. Amen! He always is reaching out to us...All we need is to reach back and grab His loving hands but He is the One Who never lets go. Glory to God! God bless you sister and I hope and pray that all is well. And praying that everything is in order with all the things you do. Love you in Christ!

  5. When I hit the lowest, that was when God was able to work the most. He reached down and grabbed me from the rubble, showed His love and power in a way I had not been able to see before and turned my heart to His saving grace. When I had nothing left to hold onto. I grabbed hold of Him. I have never looked back.

  13. I'm reminded of the hymn "Trust & Obey"

"The reason we MUST ask God for things he already intends to give us is that he wants to teach us dependence; especially our need for himself." Erwin W. Lutzer

  21. Yes, there were so many times when I felt all alone. It seemed no one cared. But I knew God loved me and that carried me through to another day. Many of my low points were merely my immagination or my pessimestic way of looking at things. He has helped me to be more optimistic. In fact, one prayer friend said, "Her glass is always hafl full." God truly does wonders.
Andrea - I'm still praying for you and your upcoming wedding event.

  24. I'm sticking with God too. And I love this version of that verse. I need to read the Message more often.

Encouraging to know God never leaves us. I've hit many rock bottoms. I learn best when I'm broken. God knows that so He allows me to sink. But the best thing is He will not leave me down. He's the lifter of my head.

    Hugs,

    Tiffany
