A Testimony of Praise and Healing

PRAISE AND ANSWERED PRAYER!

Today, I share a praise. Many of you are struggling with some form of cancer. I introduce, Frances. She lives in my home town, Landrum, South Carolina. I and many others have prayed for her for many months. She is now in "remission." She wrote this poem and read it to her Sunday School Class. Her daughter shared it with me and I asked permission to share it with all of you. It is so easy to get discouraged and Frances faced those days, too. Her battle was a difficult one with many obstacles, but she is here today to praise GOD for the "victory" HE gave her. The battle was HIS all along!

Blessed to share Frances testimony,
Andrea

" A Special Rainbow "

Today I saw a Rainbow, just above the ground,
Underneath an Oak Tree; where usually there not found.

God is always faithful ~ if we let him lead the way,
When we give our heart to Jesus and trust him day by day.

Satan wants to blind us and see us go astray,
Yet, God will not allow this if we sincerely pray.

The Rainbow is a promise, from whom we can depend;
God will never leave us ~ Oh, What A Glorious End!

This was the week after my 3rd chemo, the roughest days of my treatment cycle. I forced myself to go outside and water the azaleas under an oak tree by our drive. The sun came through the leaves creating a beautiful rainbow each time I moved the hose. It was much smaller but had all the perfect colors of a rainbow.

Pastor Mullinax drove up a few minutes later and I told him about this very real experience. He smiled and said, "Frances, I have been praying for God to send you a rainbow."

Think about it!!!!! Is God Real?

My family and I want to think all of you for your support, cards etc. Most of all, for your faithful prayers which Our Lord chose to answer.
God Bless Each Of You,
Frances Collins

  4. Dearest Andrea,

I love this posting. Rainbows mean so very much to me. When I first started my blog I had a beautiful picture of a rainbow posted on my site that I had taken in my back yard. Rainbows are very special to me and when I see one I am in awe, absolute awe and it takes my breath away because I know what it means.

Yes, this is a beautiful testimony and it fills my heart this morning. I will pray for your friend sweet sister.

    I love you Anrea,

  26. DEAR ANDREA,
I HAD TO COME VISIT YOU AFTER READING A COMMENT YOU LEFT ON CHRISSY'S BLOG ABOUT DRIVING A 100 MILES TO DELIVER A HOMELESS DOG TO HIS FOREVER HOME. MY HUSBAND AND I FOSTER NEWBORN KITTENS THAT ARE BROUGHT TO US OR WE FIND. IF WE HAD THE MONEY WE WOULD SPAYED OR NEUTER EVERY FERAL CAT WE FOUND. WE HAVE 2 CATS, 1 KITTEN AND 2 DOGS...ALL INSIDE PETS AND THEY GET ALONG BEAUTIFULLY...ALL RESCUE BUT ROMEO AND HE WAS A RESCUE BECAUSE MY ONLY 33 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER GRADUATED TO HEAVEN AFTER WINNING HER BATTLE WITH CANCER. SHE BATTLED CANCER SINCE SHE WAS 10 1/2 YEARS. MY GRIEF IS UNBEARABLE AT TIMES AS I FEEL I NEEDED HER MORE THAN GOD BUT JESUS IS MY SAVIOR AND SHE IS HAPPY IN HIS PRESENCE AND I CAN'T EVEN BEGIN TO IMAGINE HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS IN HEAVEN ESPECIALLY AT CHRISTMAS. SHE WILL NEVER SUFFER AGAIN OR KNOW SADNESS.
I WILL BE PRAYING FOR FRANCES AND THAT IN THE PRECIOUS NAME OF JESUS SHE STAYS IN REMISSION AND SEES MANY MORE RAINBOWS. HER POEM IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND THAT HER PASTOR HAD BEEN PRAYING FOR A RAINBOW FOR HER. WHEN YOU ARE BATTLING CANCER YOU NEED THOSE GIFTS FROM GOD AND HE IS FAITHFUL.
I AM JOINING YOUR BLOG AS I WANT TO BE ATTATCHED TO PRAYING CHRISTIANS....I LOVE HOW YOUR PRAYER LIST ROTATES....I AM JUST A SELF TAUGHT BLOGGER AND I DON'T KNOW ABOUT ALL THOSE FANCY THINGS.
