In The Eye Of Deception

Today, I introduce Sarah. She has become an awesome friend. Over the past year, GOD gave myself and others the privilege of encouraging Sarah as she wrote her personal journey with GOD out of abuse and pain. Please check out Sarah's book and website. She has an amazing ministry. GOD is using Sarah in magnificent ways to help woman all over the world.

There is no darkness so black, no valley so deep, God cannot redeem it for His glory. In the Eye of Deception details one woman's struggle to break free from the damaging effects of child abuse, rape and addictions. It is a story filled with hope, faith, and the realization that God can be trusted to bring about complete healing and recovery.
Nothing else had worked. Nothing had been able to break the chains that kept me living on the edge. Nothing…except the gentleness of His touch.
The power of His gentleness...
In the Eye of Deception: This is my story.

Sarah can be contacted by email: blueheron12345@yahoo.ca
or through her blog: www.cultofdeception.blogspot.com
or her website: http://www.gentlerecovery.webs.com.

  6. I know her story will be a ministry to many, Andrea...thanks for the link..I'll have to come back later to read more. I did take a few minutes to scroll down through your blog, and realize I've missed a lot of your wonderful posts...I want to revisit them as well.

I just emailed my brother in Phoenix about the dog...waiting to hear back. He has 7 dogs, so I'm not sure his brood will allow another, since they are all related..we'll see...praying for the poor little thing.

    God bless,
    Mary

  14. I'm reminded of 2 Corinthians 1:3-5:

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

It's so beautiful to see how God's using the awful stuff Sarah's been through to help others suffering in similar ways.

  27. Dearest Andrea,

I can never stop saying how much I truly love you dear friend and sweet sister. Thank you for leading me to Sarah's blog sites. What a beautiful person she is and I'm deeply touched within my mind and heart. I read through every posting of hers...how powerful, how awesome to see the Lord work over, all around and through her...AWESOME. What a gift she is to others and what a SPECTACULAR, MAJESTIC, AWESOME GIFT HE IS TO ALL OF US.

Thank you again my sweet gentle-spirited sister. I may not get around as often as I did, but I try to get around enough to read. Please tell me to come on over any time as I've needed a gentle push from my dear bloggy friends to keep on blogging due to the health situations here. I so need this in my life as I love to write humbly from my heart cries and songs.

Love you so much. You are so precious and such an encourager and inspiration to me.
