Thankful For Creation

Palliated Woodpecker flying in our backyard during the last snow storm.

"And GOD created the great sea monsters, and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed after their kind, and every winged bird after it's kind: And GOD saw that it was good." Genesis 1:21 NAS

Today, I celebrate the beauty in GOD's creation. Bara (create) means God created the universe out of nothing (V 21,27). From "nothing" GOD created immensely detailed and rich creatures. I stand amazed and I praise HIM daily, as I look upon HIS creation.

Enjoying HIS beauty,

Andrea

Every morning when I wake up, I am in AWE of this beautiful world around us that our God has created.

  35. This reminded me of a special I saw on tv tonight, one certain sea creature, and how it lives and breathes and protects itself and finds food, etc. It is truly amazing when we think of the many thousands of creatures God created, all function differently. Actually, it just boggles my mid! What a creator!!

    Hugs!

  37. Andrea, I love the verse quoted in this post, and also many corresponding verses in the book of Job. I never cease to marvel at how many creatures God has made that we are still discovering, and how many others have passed into extinction, but DID exist, as did the monsters of old and Leviathan. Awesome, amazing, humbling, our God is an awesome God isn't He?
