"Embrace peace-don't let it get away." Psalm 34:14b The Message
Some days in our lives are more difficult than others. Often, we are faced with tremendous decisions. These life decisions try our patience and challenge our sanity. We can become caught up in the process or we can choose to embrace peace! The choice is ours. God allows us the freedom to live out our lives as we choose. However, HE desires the best for us. HE offers peace, love, mercy, and forgiveness. Each are ours, if we ask!
Today, amidst the trials and difficulties of this life, I choose peace.....perfect peace....HIS peace!
What about you? Will you leave your burdens at HIS feet?
Embracing HIS peace,
Andrea
I'm choosing peace with you today. :)

This was a PERFECT post for me today!
ReplyDeleteI noticed you lived in Chester! One of my sisters lives there and I was just there over a few days with my son and nephew. We were house/dog sitting.
I'm home now. Still not too far.....Mechanicsville.
I'm so far behind on my emails that I haven't checked them in AGES. Last time I did I had over 1800...really. Most were junk. One day I'll get caught up and then I can start emailing people.
Have a great day!

Dearest Andrea,
ReplyDeleteLove you my friend. You know that I will choose His Peace at all times. Even though at times in the flesh when stresses and so much more are hitting us so hard, deep within my heart I am His and His grace gives me the purest peace that can ever be found. Resting in Him is the only place to be.
Love this post and your heart.
Hugs,
Alleluiabelle

As my calm was disturbed, I pray for peace. Peace be with you too!
ReplyDeleteI love either that verse in an older translation or another verse but the one in my head is "Seek peace and pursue it....."
ReplyDeleteWoe what a task.
I try but sometimes it's a struggle.
ReplyDeleteI believe that embracing peace is the better way to go. It would be in other words "To go with the flow." Just to let things take course on its own and leave it God's hand.
