Past The Rapids

"Don't be afraid, I've redeemed you. I've called your name. You're mine. When you are in over your head, I'll be there with you. When you're in rough waters, you will not go down. When you are between a rock and a hard place, it won't be a dead end-
Because, I am GOD, your personal GOD, The Holy of Israel, your Savior. I paid a huge price for you: all of Egypt, with rich Cush and Seba thrown in! That's how much you mean to me! That's how much I love you! I'd sell off the whole world to get you back, trade the creation just for you."
Isaiah 43:3-6 The Message

My life's journey has taken many twists and turns. There were times I thought I would perish as the waters turbulently rose around me. Thankfully, I am past the rapids and enjoying the smooth trickling waters of a gentle creek.

With each new day there comes new adventures and struggles. The GOD of my past remains the faithful GOD of my present and future. I cling tightly to HIM.

Amazed by HIS grace,

Andrea

  8. Hi Andrea,
I always read your comments on Jumping Tandem, and now I am finally by for a visit (I'm sorry it's taken me so long!). I am here taking in these encouraging words you have posted from The Message, words that speak right into my heart today, and I'm listening to the Cat Stevens song (one I have not heard in ages -- thank you!), and I simply feel peace.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your aunt. May the Scripture words you include here today seep into your heart.

    Blessings, Michelle

  10. Praising God, that He is the God of all of our pasts - the good and the ugly... But even more so, He is the God that sees our past, and loves us unconditionally , and loves to sing over us with His Songs of Delight! Zeph. 3:17.. We serve a Great and Faithful God, don't we??
Love you sweet lady.. Find His Oasis today, and just rest there with Him!
