Children

Savannah playing in O'Papa's tub.

"Don't you see that children are God's best gift? the fruit of the womb his generous legacy? Like a warriors fistful of arrows are the children of a vigorous youth. Oh, how blessed are you parents, with your quivers full of children!" Psalm 127:3-5a The Message

Savannah is our first grandchild. Our heart skips a beat when she says, "Nana....O'Papa." We adore her. God has truly blessed us by bringing her into our lives. We praise HIM and thank HIM for the opportunity and privilege to share life with Savannah. We enjoy seeing all of God's creation through her eyes.

Whether you have children or grandchildren you can still make an impact on a child's life. Children need to see the unconditional love of Christ. Please consider the opportunities GOD has for you.

Enjoying the journey,

Andrea

  1. Hi Andrea,
Your sweet granddaughter looks like she is having the time of her life with that big old tub. Such fun to see the joy that a plain old tub can bring. My sister and I were just talking about how lucky we were to have been brought up in a home that loves Jesus, and is therefore loved back, unconditionally. The greatest gift we can give to others is the knowledge of Christ... We are lucky, aren't we???

    Have a wonderful Valentine's weekend,
    Kate

  9. Very Cute.....I don't have biological children, but many spiritual ones. One day I saw the worship leader's kids dancing before the Lord with freedom during the practice. It blessed me. They are so adorable.

  25. Amen, Andrea! Our children grow so fast, it's important that we share our love for the Lord with them.

Today is my youngest son's birthday. As I shared in my post, time has gone by so quickly! It doesn't seem that long ago that we were seeing all of God's creation through our son's eyes!

I enjoyed the pictures of Savannah...she's beautiful!

  29. She is absolutely adorable! How can you not just love her to death! I hope to live to one day see my own grandchildren. I have a beautiful Goddaughter and she will be turning 6 tomorrow. She is a valentines day baby. Even though my oldest daughter just turned 18, I still have this little one to help raise along with her mother. Yes we can be a blessing to other children!

  30. You made a GREAT point!

Savannah's gorgeous and what fun playing in O'Papa's tub!!!

We have 2 grands: girl and boy, but we've "adopted" grandchildren in our church. They call me Nana, just like our natural grands.

I pray God's blessings on you and the generations which follow!
