"You've always been right there for me; don't turn your back on me now. Don't throw me out, don't abandon me; you've always kept the door open. My father and mother walked out and left me, but GOD took me in." Psalm 27:9-10 The Message
Do you feel out on a limb and alone?
Do you feel abandoned?
There have been times in my life when I have felt abandoned. During those times, GOD took me in. He was always there for me. He never turned HIS back on me. I am here today, because HE loved me when it felt as though no one else did.
A heart forever changed,
Andrea
Praising God with you sis, He never leaves us, never. I love you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful praise.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you my friend,
Lesa
Yes Andrea I have felt that way but I remember the verse that He will never leave us nor forsake us. He is with us always. Praise Him for that.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Mimi
Wonderful encouragement Andrea! He is here, with me and for me.
ReplyDeleteI've known what it's like to be all alone and I, too, am so grateful that God is faithful. Even when I've not been faithful to Him, He has been faithful.
ReplyDeleteNo mom and no dad, but I don't feel alone! God is with me at all times.
ReplyDeleteAmen Andrea. He is there with us always.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Marcia

Yes I have felt that way before, but thankfully not now. He is always there with us, walking beside us, and never forsaking us. How can't we praise a God like that?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post, Andrea.

Carol
Those times, when it's just you and God, can be awful and wonderful at the same time.
ReplyDeleteComforting words that I cherish to hear now! Blessings.
ReplyDeleteI thank God for the seasons in my life that seemed a barren wasteland at the time. In retrospect (20/20 hindsight), I can see they were the fertile soil He used for great dependence upon Him.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Kathleen
Dearest Andrea, so many people will resonate with that scripture and todays message.

What a beautiful truth - God never forsakes us! Makes me think of the verse: "He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep."
ReplyDeleteGod is the only truly faithful one, isn't he?
I enjoyed my visit today Andrea! Have a beautiful day.

Lynnette :)
Psalm 27 is "mine". I read it and I see "wait" but seeing this part, I'm taken back to the message He seems to be repeating over and over and that's "I love you"!
