Out On A Limb

"You've always been right there for me; don't turn your back on me now. Don't throw me out, don't abandon me; you've always kept the door open. My father and mother walked out and left me, but GOD took me in." Psalm 27:9-10 The Message

Do you feel out on a limb and alone?

Do you feel abandoned?

There have been times in my life when I have felt abandoned. During those times, GOD took me in. He was always there for me. He never turned HIS back on me. I am here today, because HE loved me when it felt as though no one else did.

A heart forever changed,

Andrea

  5. I've known what it's like to be all alone and I, too, am so grateful that God is faithful. Even when I've not been faithful to Him, He has been faithful.

  15. I thank God for the seasons in my life that seemed a barren wasteland at the time. In retrospect (20/20 hindsight), I can see they were the fertile soil He used for great dependence upon Him.

  19. What a beautiful truth - God never forsakes us! Makes me think of the verse: "He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep."

God is the only truly faithful one, isn't he?

I enjoyed my visit today Andrea! Have a beautiful day.
    Love,
    Lynnette :)

  20. Psalm 27 is "mine". I read it and I see "wait" but seeing this part, I'm taken back to the message He seems to be repeating over and over and that's "I love you"!

Thank you for the reminder and THANK YOU for being such a sweet and faithful commenter.
