A Safe Landing

"God's name is a place of protection-good people can run there and be safe." Proverbs 18:10 The Message

"For Thou has been a defense for the helpless, A defense for the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat; For the breath of the ruthless is like a rainstorm against a wall." Isaiah 25:4 NAS

Are you feeling a bit tossed about? Are you drifting?

Know GOD has a safe place for you to land. Like this piece of driftwood, sitting at the top of a sand dune, HE has a perfect place with an awesome view for you. Not only does HE have a landing place, HE will give you a birds eye view of eternity from HIS heart to yours.

Enjoying the view,

Andrea

  7. That was such a beautiful picture and message today. A song kept coming to me as I read, about a shelter and a high tower, but that may have been another scripture. Anyway, it was nicely written.

  13. Oh wow, the picture brings back many wonderful memories for me. We used to go to the beach often when we were younger. He is our rock when we are feeling tossed about as the driftwood was tossed upon the shore!

  14. I love that picture. It took me back to those wonderful times my family and I shared when we went camping by the ocean. And you're right, the view was amazing if you're standing on top of those dunes. God bless sister. Thank you for this.

  32. A beautiful picture and great way to describe a life not being guided by His hand. Drifting, I can relate.

I am well-but so very busy at work and at home so my blog visits are slim these days. But I am trying to catch up. Thank you for asking about me on Chester's blog.

    Have a lovely Spring!

  37. Dear Andrea,

Will you put me on your prayer list? I am having a hard time with a co-worker. She is a Christian but is very harsh and abrupt. I have asked God to change my heart toward her.

    Blessings sweet lady!
