As I sip my morning coffee, I gather my thoughts. Weary and tired, I face a new day. The beauty of GODS creation renews my senses and reminds me of GODS comfort and peace. HE is faithful to prepare the way before me. HE loves me and most certainly HE loves each of you.
Take comfort as the storms of life toss you about. Climb into HIS arms and rest!
"And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows." Luke 12:7 NLT
Resting In HIS arms,
Andrea

Very comforting post....We re so blessed to rest in His arms..
ReplyDeleteDoes the cardinal have any clue to how beautiful he is? I'm sure he does not or he would be very hard to live with. As he is now, he knows that smuggling in that hollow snow and resting in his Maker is the best thing for him. He is such a wise bird.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture....Posted an similar picture on my other blog day before yesterday http://myjourneydiamonds.blogspot.com/2010/12/laten-wij-hem-prijzen.html

Every time I see a cardinal in my yard, I think of VA! (Since it's the state bird.) I have a few cardinal Christmas decorations just to remind me of "home".
ReplyDeleteAs I type this, Eric is on his way down to OBX for the weekend. I'm jealous!
Wishing you a happy & blessed New Year!
Love ya, Leslie
Happy New Year, Dear One! Keep resting!
ReplyDeleteWhy should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heav’n and home,
When Jesus is my portion? My constant Friend is He:
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
“Let not your heart be troubled,” His tender word I hear,
And RESTING on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears;
Though by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise,
When songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free,
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me!
Happy New Year to you and your beautiful family, Andrea!!
