Life's Ridges














Life's ridges in the sand our lives unfolds as we embrace the twists and turns. If we allow, uncertainty and fear of the unknown may plague us. In time, we are often able to see the beauty in the ridges and crevasses of our lives. Embrace the unknown with eager expectation waiting for a glimpse of GODS beauty within those hollowed out places. Do NOT allow depression to fill those places, but rather be filled with the presence of the one who loves you most, Jesus!

    Beautiful reminder to us to not let those crevices, those places worn by trials to be filled with anything but God's love and grace. Bless you this day.

    What a wonderful reminder for today. So often we let the trials of life fill us with things that are not good, but by letting Him fill us we can go to the top of the mountain. I wish I could give you a big hug today, so since I can't take one from afar! I hope your week is on the mountain top!

    It is much better to embrace the unknown than fear it. God holds our futures, so I truly believe that there is no better way to approach the future, the unknown, than to embrace it.

    I love the ridges. They make for a toe-hold or a hand-grip. Sometimes the best climbs are had because of them.

    Oooh.. This is "Mmmmm, good!" I'm embracing the unknown, as I'm being embraced by the Father. And the great part is, He knows all things, so the "unknown" to me, is NOT Unknown to Him. . .and since He's got me, AND the unknown in His hand, I got a feeling I'm gonna be A-Ok! :) Thanks!!!!

    That is the lesson God has for me here... To view my empty places as God's dwelling places instead of my own weaknesses, shortcomings and depressed places.

    A perfect word at a perfect time in my life. I loved the photo - because only a river could carve those ridges. That's what I'm holding on to - the Living Water that is shaping and molding me - and filling up the hollow places.

    My husband and I are facing a 'hollowed out place" ... he's being laid off from work. I'm going to look at it as you said ... 'waiting for glimpse of Gods beauty". :)
