Praise and Answered Prayers

Pray for David

Yesterday, David (my brother in law) and Courtney (my sister) met with the Oncologist regarding David's recent diagnosis (Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia). David is in the early stages of the disease. His red blood cell count remains high. His blood loss was due to Esophagealitis. He will have his red blood cell count checked bi-weekly. The doctor recommended a holistic approach at this time. CLL progresses slowly. As the doctor said, "we will save chemo treatments for later; we do not want to compromise your immune system while it is still working properly."

Our family is overwhelmed. We know our prayers are being answered. We see GOD's hand at every turn and we praise HIM for it. We thank you for your continued prayers as David and Courtney continue on this journey. May GOD bless each of you for taking the time out of your day to storm the heavens on our behalf.

"Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, and HIS praise in the congregation of the godly ones. Let Israel be glad in his Maker; Let the sons of Zion rejoice in their king. Let them praise HIS name with dancing; Let them sing praises to HIM with timbrel and lyre. For the Lord takes pleasure in HIS people; He will beautify the afflicted ones with salvation." Psalm 149:1-4

Dancing before the Lord with praise,

Andrea

  11. Yes, this is a praise report. I have a friend who's husband did holistic treatment for his cancer. He is cancer free. Without chemo. It's definitely a good option. Thank you, Jesus.

  15. Andrea,
So happy for your comment on my blog. I'm not sure we have met before. I love meeting people who read me when they comment, become followers.

I had a conversation with a patient in the hospital recently while volunteering and one with a friend about a mutual friend with the kinds of cancer Farrah Fawcett had. The conversations were about macrobiotic diet to prevent the growth of cancer. I would guess that's a holistic approach.

    Love and prayers,

  27. Awesome news! Though, honestly, having something handging over your head is often just as umm, unsettling. He may need some prayers to cope with this.
