A heart of gold
Forever unfolds.

A little child steps boldly into adulthood placing the words, scattered fragments, and symbols into eloquently written poems, essays, journals, and stories penned by professor, writer, and best of all, friend!

I wrote this poem after visiting my friend, MaryGrace. We began sharing how our desire to write came very early in our lives. The unexplainable desire was placed in our hearts before our ability to read or form sentences.

Our time together was therapeutic for both of us. She is recovering well. The stroke has left her to more
dependent on GOD. Her speech and gait have have returned to normal, however, her vision is still impaired. Of all abilities, her vision is likely the most precious to her. As a prolific reader and writer she needs her vision. She is also learning to pace herself and "not" overdo it.  Please continue to pray for GOD's healing in her body, her sensitiveness to GOD's lead, and provision in all areas of her life.

Blessed to have beautiful friends,

Andrea

*Thank you to all of you who prayed for Macy. She is doing much  better. I am amazed how GOD is working through each of you in my life. Thank you for hanging in here with me. I am totally amazed that each of you come back to visit and read my blogs. I am truly blessed!

What a great picture with the butterfly. I wish one would land on me. :)

So glad to hear she is doing better. Praying for her eyesight to return. My brother had a stroke and his came back eventually.

You are a blessing, Andrea. I feel the same way about you coming and visiting and supporting me through the mountain tops and the valleys.

Blessings,
Tammy

Andrea,

So glad that Macy is doing much better and for also filling us in on prayer specifics for Mary Grace. She sounds like such a wonderful lady and I am hoping that God offers her not only what you have written about here, but using this time to provide her with things to write about, the amazing love and grace of God during our worst times in life.

yes.
best to marygrace. the stroke left her more dependent on god. never heard that before. usually something like, a stoke left a victim more dependent on assistance around the home, or something conventional like that.
thanks for your kind words at deidra's. good to meecha.

Wonderful news for your friend Macy! I was blessed too as I didn't have any long term disability from my stroke. It effected a bit of my short term memory.
You are blessed to have such a wonderful friend Andrea, and it's obvious from your beautiful words about your friendship!

Andrea,
Thanks for stopping by and checking out the new home for my blog. I put up a new post last night explaining about not having a "follower" button. Also, if you subscribed to my blog before last night, you'll need to subscribe again as I had to re-do it.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Ohh, sweet friend, I hope Macy will be fine ... but when the time comes she will so enjoy cuddling at the feet of Jesus.

That is good news about your friend recovering more ... each day will hopefully bring her more restoration of her abilities.

I am doing fine now, just having the 'crud' & coughing to get rid of.

How nice you & Doug were able to enjoy your time with your friend ... living for the moment is life.

I'll call you soon. This week I will have ALL those kid-lings & it is going to be rowdy & busy & fun.

Hugs of love, Me
