Blurry, Yet Strong

Life has  been a little topsy-tervy the last several months. Just as the above picture is a little blurry, so have been some of life's events in my life. I miss visiting with each of your regularly and hope to be back reading all my favorite blogs, soon.  Through this season, GOD continues to draw me closer to HIM. HIS strength abounds as I continue putting one foot in front of the other.

Though some life events remain blurry others are clear. Tomorrow, I will coach out daughter Lauren as she is induced for Eli's delivery. Doug and I traveled back from the Outer Banks of N. C. to share in the birth of our second grandchild. We did not have to come back, we wanted to come back. We would not miss it for the world. We have teased and laughed thinking of how our new little guy will be starting his life, just as our kids have done. He is keeping Nana and Papa on their toes and reminding us what is truly important. Our children have always kept our life eventful, exciting, and a little scary, sometimes! We are also reminded, GODS time, not ours!

We continue to miss our precious Macy (cocker spaniel). It has only been a few days since our youngest son bravely took her to the vet for the last time. Doug and I could not be more proud of Wil. He is growing into a phenomenal young man. Indeed, we are truly blessed!

Many of you have watched our precious Savannah (our 3year old granddaughter) blossom on this blog. She is struggling with asthma. We ask for your prayers on her behalf. Nana's heart still skips a beat when she says, "I'm Nana's girl!"

My precious friends, as life continues to bat you around, look for the beauty amongst the thorns. Know there are others who have walked similar paths. May GOD bless each of you!

By HIS mercy and in the grip of HIS grace,

Andrea

Hi Andrea - Beaglebratz mom here(Kim)

I am so sorry to hear you have been having some rough times lately. My vision is clearing good after my cornea transplant but I still esperience the other "blurriness" in my life sometimes. Like you, my faith in the Lord has become stronger over the past few months and I feel it grow stronger. I knew that the Lord put the Beaglebratz in my life for a reason - I thought it was for the many therapy dog visits we made - I never suspected that the most important "therapy visit" they would do would be with me. If it were not for my faith in the Lord, my Beaglebratz, my family and my friends (those incyberspace too), I really don't know where I would be. I was so sorry to hear about Macy - I went to your other blog to read more there - I am afraid my blogging/commenting is still hit and miss and did not know about Macy until now.

Such a happy event for you tomorrow - being there for your daughter and welcoming a new life into the world. Like the others, I too am praying for a safe delivery. I am also praying that the "blurriness" in your life will lift and all will turn out well for all. I am praying also that for Samantha, she will grow out of her asthma as she gets older - I know this can happen.

Prayers for all of you and stay safe in your travels. May God wrap His arms around you all and keep all safe.

Andrea, my heart goes out to you tonight. Some things in my life seem so "out of focus" too. Praying for Wisdom from the Lord, to "clear up our vision" so we can see these circumstances as He would have us to view them.

Will be praying for the safe delivery of your precious grandbaby, Eli! So sorry about Macy too! Having had (and lost) several pets throughout the years, I understand how great a loss you are feeling! ((hugs)) My daughter has asthma too. Will keep Savannah in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for keeping us posted as time permits!

Whoops - it is late and for some reason I was thinking Samantha when I should have written Savannah - I love that name and I remember you writing about her but like I said, it is late for me.

Having just walked around the sunny winter garden and then deleted half the flowers that were blurry.....moral of the story is be rested when you are playing games with your camera....
But you know what.....it is a fabulous opportunity to go and take better ones. Our failures are only steps to being successful.
However I think my back is telling me that today is not the best day too go back out.
We planted 4 roses and moved one.

Your blurry photo and reflections on the blurry times of life remind me of the scriptures that talk about us seeing "through a mirror darkly", and through the loss of beloved pets, family, dreams, He is faithful...always.But I know you know this.

Grandchildren, pure blessings!

Lifting you and yours in prayer today. You described it so well...those times in our lives where the focus is not so clear....times when God carries us...Jeremiah 29:11-12 comes to mind.
God bless.

Life can get blurry, but through Jesus Christ it will become clear again. Praying he wraps his arms around you and helps you through this busy time in your life. I am just now catching up on blogs. I am so sorry to hear about Macy. I feel your loss! But that feeling will be replaced with that new grandbaby! Praying for safe delivery and everyone will be in good health. Congrats! ... nothin like those grandbabies!
until next time... nel

God loves His children. He comforts them, provides for them, heals them and forgives them, when they need it.
We all have to lean on Him to get us through. He said He'd be there for us.

Sweet Andrea ~ how exciting you get to be the coach for the wee one's arrival ... I loved doing this 3 times myself, nothing more precious than the first blessed breath & welcoming cry.

Those fuzzy shades of gray always seem to linger for us, but He does continue to support us thru them all.

Please give your sister my best, hope things are mellowing ...

Have a great summer's eve ~
