One Mountain After Another

As I climbed one mountain after another through the years, I have become more and more aware of the strength GOD has given me. He never fails me. He always gives me what I need. He faithfully meets me in the depths of my despair and carries me when I can not walk on my own. He will do the same for each of you.

My journey has taken the scenic route and I have come to appreciate all the twists and turns. The adventurous and difficult road has molded me into the person I am, today. Sure, I could have avoided some of the difficulties by making different choices, however, I can not change them, now. Surely, others can learn from the road I have followed and make wiser and more GODLY decisions as a result.

"And we know that God causes everything to work together[a] for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." Romans 8:28 NLT

I now look at each mountain, hill, and valley with different eyes. I look through the eyes of my Heavenly Father. I enjoy each moment of each day and appreciate all He has for me. I pray each of you will look through HIS eyes as you face life's trials.

By His mercy and in the grip of His grace,

Andrea

Our road may not be what we would have chose, but God is in charge.

YES! I agree! Our journey has taken us through many trails and side bars, but of all of it is used by Him in our lives. What a huge grace! Life changing grace!

It's only because of God I get out of bed in the mornings. Great post, Andrea.

Beautiful post. And so very true. Your post reminds me a lot of the trials our daughter has had to go through in her illness for the past 11 years. Her faith never falters; no matter how bad things might look, she smiles and says, "I just can't wait to see how God is going to work this out." And He always works it out for the best. Blessings.

Hi Andrea,
Recently I was thinking about how I wanted God's vision..I wanted to see things as He views them.. then to be able to tell others. It made me think of a new word: Tell-His-Vision. In order to tell others about Him, we must first begin to view them as He does. And you've been given His perspective on things too. :) This is great! You look at the twists and turns in life as a mountain road...winding, changing, sometimes rocky. We are instruments in His hands..and when a piano or guitar is tuned, the strings are twisted, turned, plucked. . . just until the sound is sweetest. These twists and turns are fine tuning us so that He can play us as an instrument in His hands, for His glory :)
Hugs!

Many of us have gone the "scenic route." Praise God he uses all of our lives for His glory."

Andrea, thank you for that reminder that the quickest & easiest path isn't always the best. Thistle Cove Farm, I pray that God continues to give you the grace to move forward each day. Trisha, your daughter is a shining example of God working amid challenging situations.
