Are You Staying Afloat?

Savannah is learning to swim. She is clearly still a beginner and needs assistance and supervision. For safety, when playing she also needs flotation devices in deep water, unless someone is working with her. As I looked at the pictures from Savannah's birthday party last weekend, I began to think about how we need a little help to stay afloat in this world. We can not do it on our own. God give us everything we need, but we do not always use it. We go our own way. We have His constant presence within us and His word to guide us, yet we pay no attention to His lead or direction, sometimes.

~Focus on your Heavenly Father.
~Spend lots of time with Him, in prayer.
~Study His word an know it for yourself. Do not depend on others. Get in there and dig deeper seeing what GOD has to say to "you!"

Let's stay afloat with the guiding hand of our Heavenly Father!

By HIS mercy and in the grip of HIS grace,
Andrea

So many times I want to do things on my own, not wanting or asking for anyone's help for fear of looking foolish or stupid, but then things can sometimes get out of hand and I have no choice but to ask to keep afloat. PRAISE GOD that He is ALWAYS THERE and will reach out and grab me to keep my from going under!

Thank you, Jesus, for being my Life-guard!

Blessings~

I am so glad Jesus takes us back when we wander out there on our own. You have given me some things to think on.

So often, I find myself dog paddling, arms and legs flailing, just to stay afloat. Thanks for the reminders and the perfect picture to tag along with the message...especially because it is of your ever-growing Savannah!
loving you, ~ linda
