A Thankful Heart

~My Savior and Lord! He has seen me through many battles!
~My husband, Doug. He is regaining strength and beginning to heal after 23 days of sickness.
~Our children. May they continue to grow into the people GOD created them to be.
~Our grandchildren. Hearing each of them say, "Nana" still makes my heart skip a beat!
~Our fur babies. The ability to share them with others as Therapy Dogs.
~Living in a country where I can worship my Lord openly.
~The US Military. The freedom we each enjoy, daily!
~Many wonderful friends who love me no matter how crazy I act.
~Having a roof over my head, food in my belly, and clothes on my back.
~The ability/freedom to write from my heart.
~New Beginnings!

What are you thankful for?

By HIS mercy and in the grip of HIS grace,

I am thankful for most of the same things you are, except I don't have grandchildren. I'm not complaining about that, though.

Amen. I am thankful that I am comfortable being "me", as God designed me. I am thankful that my faith has not failed. I am thankful that my hope is still alive. I am thankful that I still believe that love is the strongest power on earth. I am thankful for every person who daily chooses to be kind and loving. I am thankful for those who make huge sacrifices - military, missionaries, aid workers, peacekeepers - to protect and serve the most vulnerable in the world.

I pray for and give thanks for every leader, and for all people everywhere, that they will know that God loves them and is ever present to help them.

May you be blessed, Andrea.
