Where Is Your Focus?

"2-3But friends, that's exactly who we are: children of God. And that's only the beginning. Who knows how we'll end up! What we know is that when Christ is openly revealed, we'll see him—and in seeing him, become like him. All of us who look forward to his Coming stay ready, with the glistening purity of Jesus' life as a model for our own." 1 John 3:2-3 The Message

Friends, it is time to consider what we are teaching those we love the most! Are we teaching them to look to the future with eager expectation? Or, are we teaching them to look back and wallow in the past? Where is your focus?

~Let us teach our children and grandchildren to keep their eyes focused on the Lord!

~Let us live our lives in a way that encourages others to run the race of this life eagerly toward their Heavenly Father!

By HIS mercy and in the grip of HIS grace,

Andrea

Several of my devotions talked about keeping my focus on the Lord today...a message I need to tuck into my heart today.

Hi Andrea,

This is a good thought. This is such an uncertain world. It is a blessing to know that we can trust God to take care of tomorrow, and all we need to do is our best today.

I am having a little Merry Christmas Giveaway. It is a very simple item, but it is my very first giveaway ever!

I seem to have problems leaving a comment so I hope this goes through...Thank you first sister for always encouraging me and praying for me.

I love the reminder you wrote and what a great picture you included! How pleasing that would be to the Lord if we start teaching our kids/grandkids about Him...God bless and protect you always.
