The Vein and The Pain Run Deep

The veins in the petal of each flower run deep, signifying life. Our lives are full of petals and each petal is full of veins. Each vein holds pain and happiness. We usually let the happy times shine. The depth of our pain is often carefully hidden, yet never completely. We may think we can hide the pain, but others see it through the vein. Today, I find myself sorting through the pain praying GOD will give me the appropriate words to share. When revealing the damaging part of our lives we should examine our motives.

Revealing the pain of the past should:

~Always bring health and healing.
~Help others who are hurting.
~Promote understanding.
~Draw others close to GOD!

By HIS mercy and in the grip of HIS grace,

Andrea Bowling Perdue

Andrea,

I felt that desire today as well and for me, your answers are valid. God enabled me to create my blog in hopes that whatever I write will speak to those who stop by and read it. I hope it brings comfort and showcases what Christians are, just the hands and feet of Jesus even though we aren't perfect like He was.

Love and Hugs ~ Kat

Stop by and read my blog today. I need your input as a fellow pet lover.

Absolutely, Andrea. Our words should always be motivated by love and should always bring healing. We should never dig up unless we intend to replenish and restore, so that new life can spring up and blossom. Our words have the power to do that.

"He suffered pain, He suffered shame ..." the old hymn says: so He is able to sympathise.

Complaining doesn't praise God, does it?! It doesn't thank Him, and if we're not thanking Him - how can we see what He has done for us!!! Simply beautiful, power message Andrea!
