The "Selfish Me" is Whittled Away!

With each passing day, I have a greater understanding of who God wants me to be. Slowly, the "selfish me" is whittled away. My reactions should reflect the heart of Christ whether they make sense to others or not. As I continue to stumble my way through this earthly life I will surely experience times of failure, as well as accomplishment. Both provide an opportunity to grow and learn. I pray my eyes and heart will not be blind to "God's" revelations in each experience.

By HIS mercy and in the grip of HIS grace,

Andrea Bowling Perdue

You have a good grasp of what God expects.

This years focus and healing journey has me feeling pretty selfish and I have been speaking to God about this very thing. I am weary of it being "all about me" and wait for God to direct my path now...so I can become more like Him....SO this speaks loudly to me today :) Bless you for sharing.

I, too, pray for my heart and eyes to be open wide for the revelations of God and certainly not mine! I have missed you and will be back.
