What "Prayer" means to me.

What "Prayer" means to me:

Indwelling presence and power much greater than my own, continually translating my groaning and fear into gentle whispers entering the heart of God. All the while each prayer transforms my heart and spirit. With each heart-transformation, Jesus is reflected through my responses to adversity and pain sweeping fear out of the deep recesses and crevasses of my heart and filling it with His peace.

"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people." Ephesians 6:18 NIV

No request is too great for God. He cares about every detail of our lives.

By HIS mercy and in the grip of HIS grace,
Andrea Bowling Perdue

A wonderful definition of prayer. And yes, God cares about every detail. After all, He has numbered the hairs on our heads!

GOD BLESS!

Andrea: Thank you for sharing your thoughts on prayer. God loves each of us. He guides His children through times of stress and hardship. He wants us to converse with Him, daily.
