Lifted From The Garbage Heap

"He picks up the poor from out of the dirt, rescues the wretched who've been thrown out with the trash, Seats them among the honored guests, a place of honor among the brightest and best. He gives childless couples a family, gives them joy as the parents of children. Hallelujah!" Psalm 113:7-9 The Message

Most of us have felt battered, bruised and a bit like garbage, at times. For many years now, these verses have served as a beautiful reminder of the love of GOD. He "lifts me from the garbage heap" and "sits me among the brightest and best." Indeed, GOD redeems and pours HIS love into our lives, filling the emptiest places!

Be encouraged! You too can find freedom and hope in HIS word! Do not listen to the comments of those who tell you "you are no good....you are worthless." Know: Your value is beyond measure. Each of you have a special place in this world. Allow your Heavenly Father to "pull you from the heap" of despair and heal your heart!

Lifted from the heap,

Andrea

Hi Andrea,
What a great verse. I had never heard that one before. It is especially significant because I don't have children. I looked the verse up in the Amplified Bible and it said God would make me the joyful mother to (spiritual children).

Thanks for the blessing and the reminder. Around the Holidays I can miss being a Mom.

Blessings,
Tammy

Dearest Andrea,

What a fulfilling post. I have missed you. You always reach into the depths of our hearts and bring out the best in all of us. That's only one small way that He uses you dear one. You are a person with many talents, with much to offer to all of us...You are concerned, loving, caring, compassionate, understanding, uplifting, there at our sides, lifting us up and storming the heavens on our behalf...You are so much to so many.

Thank you Father for Dearest Andrea. Thank you for using her as your beacon of light that shines warmly and brightly through her mind, heart and soul to each one of us here. Oh how she loves you Father that we can surely feel and see.

Father God, I ask that you bless Dearest Andrea with every blessing that is meant to come her way. I thank you each day for her, for the blessings that are about to come her way even more than she knows or I know...but you Father, know all so I lift my head and raise my hands up to the heavenlies and proclaim praise, honor and glory to your Almighty name and thank you in advance for the blessings that you are pouring out to her and to all of us this night and in the days to come. Shower us Almighty Father, shower us in Jesus precious name I pray. Amen.

I love you dear sister.

Big Hugs & Prayers,
Alleluiabelle

Great message for teens (I have one) and even adults. A teenager just told me that what she appreciates most about Christ is that he gives her a second chance. That melted my heart.

Such true words Andrea. I always think of my parents when I read about the childless couples too, they couldn't have kids, and adopted my brother after 9 years of marriage. They had me 3 years later. They now have 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Blessings,
Marcia
