Created To Cling

"We humans keep brainstorming options and plans, but God's purpose prevails." Proverbs 19:21 The Message

We are the happiest as we cling tightly to our Heavenly Father, accepting HIS purpose in our lives, and finding contentment in HIS plan. Join me, today as I seek to cling tightly to HIM!

Finding contentment in HIS purpose and plan,

Andrea

*Amden is home and doing well. David continues to have a high white blood cell count. Please continue to pray for each of them as well as Amden's parents (Jordan and Amber) and my sister, Courtney. THANK YOU!!

So true that life seems to go much smoother when we are walking in the path that Jesus has carved out ahead for us.

Sorry to hear about your family's health problems. I will pray for God's comfort and healing hand to be with you all.

Sweet Andrea~

I have been wanting to tell you how much your comment meant to me the other day. How it warmed my heart when your husband asked about your friend in Luray. It put such a smile on my face! :> ) I think of you often as well when I look out at the Blue Ridge Mountains and Skyland. You know, we are not the far away from each other. A trip to your area would be a much needed escape, or perhaps we can meet somewhere in the middle for lunch one day. Or if you are out this way again, we would LOVE to have you stop by! :> )

I am clinging to and giving Him all I've got! Life is so much better when do!

PRAISE GOD that Amden is doing well. That is such wonderful news. I will continue to uplift your precious family in my prayers.

Blessings~
Laura

I will continue to pray for these precious ones.

I adore the way this reads in the message paraphrase - options and plans, yep, that's me sometimes.

May I cling to God and stick with His purposes.

Oh Andrea ... I, firstly, want to cling to our Father too. Oh, how we need to as there is nothing in this world that is clingable nor even will be there when we will most need the strength, the power, the love that only God can give us.
And will surely continue to pray for your special people and you.
Loving and caring, ~ linda

I love the translation of that verse in The Message. I don't think I've read this particular verse in this translation before. That's me...always brainstorming and having my plans thwarted. Thankfully : )

This line is so true, "Contentment in HIS plan." How much more we enjoy life if we follow his plan and not our own!!!
