Today, I celebrate the beauty in GOD's creation. Bara (create) means God created the universe out of nothing (V 21,27). From "nothing" GOD created immensely detailed and rich creatures. I stand amazed and I praise HIM daily, as I look upon HIS creation.

For me it's cardinals. I think God sends them to me sometimes when I need to see Him. It's what I think, and I'm sticking to it!

Sometimes when I look at the mountains surrounding us here in the Valley, I cry thinking, WOW.....He did ALL this! It is very humbling!

How I love "Bara", create out of nothing. It's one of my favorite concepts. Only God could do that.
That "something out of nothing" thought just keeps spinning in my mind.
God truly is in a category all by Himself! His beauty is one-of-a-kind; His creation unmatched.

Just last week as my husband and I drove into our neighborhood a red-headed woodpecker soared right in front of our windshield. It took my breath away!

This reminded me of a special I saw on tv tonight, one certain sea creature, and how it lives and breathes and protects itself and finds food, etc. It is truly amazing when we think of the many thousands of creatures God created, all function differently. Actually, it just boggles my mid! What a creator!!

Andrea, I love the verse quoted in this post, and also many corresponding verses in the book of Job. I never cease to marvel at how many creatures God has made that we are still discovering, and how many others have passed into extinction, but DID exist, as did the monsters of old and Leviathan. Awesome, amazing, humbling, our God is an awesome God isn't He?

We just saw one of these Saturday afternoon as we were chatting in our neighbors drive. I love birds..we've got so many in our feeder this winter. Recently four bluejays have made an appearance. So far they are behaving : )
