Surprised To Be Loved!

Psalm 18:16-19 The Message

16-19 But me he caught—reached all the way
from sky to sea; he pulled me out
Of that ocean of hate, that enemy chaos,
the void in which I was drowning.
They hit me when I was down,
but God stuck by me.
He stood me up on a wide-open field;
I stood there saved—surprised to be loved!

No words could be truer for me than those written in Psalm 18. God rescued me from the captivity of family strongholds and set me on a course leading to happiness and healing. Each day I wake to the loving touch of my Heavenly Father, "surprised to be loved!"

By HIS mercy and in the grip of HIS grace,

Andrea

How does God let bad things happen to those He loves? I want to believe He loves me as much I do my own children.

Isn't it amazing how words just grab us at times and THE WORD speaks to us in a deep new way.
I was reading 2nd Chronicles last night feeling a bit sorry for myself that my new reading program had popped me there.........but oh the treasure.

Blessings, Andrea. Chaos is truly the enemy's playground, and the very opposite of His love and peace.

Often I'm in awe of the unconditional love of God. Far to often we don't feel worthy but we are a child of the King!

God bless ya and have a terrific day!!!

So wonderful to be brought into the place of love. And because you were once somewhere else, the result is that much sweeter. What a wonderful God. The Message comes through again, loud and clear.

So many people should come here and read that verse about family strongholds.

It really just puts it all out there in perspective.

Always lovely to come by -- so sorry it's been so long since I've done so. Reading your post makes me realize why I love coming to see you.

Hope all is well with your new grandbaby and that you and your family are all happy and healthy.

Peace and serenity,
~Jo
