Resting, Listening, Waiting

This Sitka Spruce stands tall. It's strength and endurance amaze me. Lately, I have not felt tall, strong, or anything close. I ushered in the New Year with sickness and as I began to heal, I became ill again. This past weekend was difficult to say the least. I was threatened with being admitted to the hospital and receiving IV's. I am determined to continue forward, resting in HIS arms. I am learning I can NOT run ahead of GOD. I must rest, listen, and wait.

I praise GOD for each of your prayers, love, sweet comments, and encouragement. GOD has used each of you to touch my heart deeply.

Resting, listening, and waiting,

Andrea

I went through something like what you have in the year 2000. It took time and a lot of waiting. Orange Juice helped.

Dear Andrea,
Sorry to hear about your feeling so ill.

Lord, I come before you and lift up my friend Andrea. She needs your healing touch. Please send angels to surround her with healing power in their wings. I pray for the healing power of God to touch every cell in her immune system and strengthen all her cells in the battle against this stinky virus. Father, I pray you send many to encourage her during this healing process. Thank you for her strong giving Spirit to all of us in the bloggy world and in her family.

In Jesus name Amen!

Blessings,
Tammy

Andrea,

"Worship God in prayer and song and thanksgiving. Find a song that lifts your heart to God; sing it throughout the day. Thank God often for his help and love for you.

DYI -- J.R. Church who is dealing with painful cancer treatments mentioned on his web site: "Prophecy in the News" that he listens to the book of Psalms read in Hebrew Song. A viewer suggested it to him.

J.R. has downloaded the Psalms in Hebrew Song on his IPod and taped his Ipod to his body. He claims that by playing the Psalms in Hebrew song actually takes away his pain.

You are not alone. As I sat watching the ducks in the lake recently, I noticed their serenity. They seem to be in the same waters they were in last year, but they were still paddling. We may seem at a stand still, but the glory of God is sure to manifest.
