Conversation With Savannah

Savannah: "Nana, Guess what?"

Nana: "What Squeaky?"

Savannah: "I have taste bugs on my tongue!"

Nana: "Don't you mean taste buds?"

Savannah: "No, Nana! See these little white dots on my tongue! They are taste bugs!"

Nana: "Why do you have them?"

Savannah: "My taste bugs tell me when I like what I eat!"

I am blessed to be Nana! I love the conversations I am able to have with Savannah, aka Squeaky as she grows and matures.

Blessings and prayers,
andrea

No wonder Jesus loved children - their innocence, their simple look at life, their beautiful hearts - we can learn a thing or two from them!!

I can so remember some of the "words" that my sons came up with when they were little. One was "eye-byes" (eyebrows) and "fingnagels" (fingernails). Treasured memories.

Give Squeaky a squeeze from me!

Blessings to you and yours on this wonder-full Palm Sunday!

Little kids are so wise. And so much fun. We called our second daughter "Squeaky!" (At 51, she has definitely outgrown that moniker.)

I just love how this conversation reflects our many conversations with our heavenly Father. I have a feeling that I've said many things to Him over the years that was not perfect, but I got to dwell in His presence because He simply loved me.

This is so precious. I am not around very many small children, but I love it when they say things like that.

Dearest Andrea,

You KNOW how much I love grandchildren and your little one is so beautiful and precious...such a sweet and innocent conversation. It made me smile from ear-to-ear and my heart wrapped itself around her and you across cyberspace.

May the Lord bless your heart immensely this Easter season.

Love you,
Alleluiabelle
