This is completely true especially as we go about our day to day activities, we need to constantly make sure that God's light in shining on within us so when we come across someone in complete darkness they will smile because they found something in us, they didn't have themselves.
It's great to always keep that in our minds and hearts as we represent the Lord's light in those dark areas where He wants us to go and be able to shine, not of our own brightness, but that one that is His! Have a great weekend sister. Love and blessings.
Oh, I just came from Kat's to your blog and both of you have powerfully ministered to me. Was about to give up...but God spoke a powerful word to me through His word. AND I dusted myself off and here I am. PTL!
Thank you, Andrea, for all your visits. I have been very busy and am limited in my blog time. I will visit as often as I can. You are so kind to stop by to say “Hello”. Thanks bunches!!!
If it isn't too off course for your blog, could you write about how to help a dog with the whines? Meaning specifically, a year old male mini-schnauzer who whines and cries loudly at any perceived slight? Jealousy issues I suspect, but heaven forbid if he can't be walked exactly when his sister is.

Jesus said, "I am the light."
Amen! I try to keep my mind on being salt and light all the time. I don't always succeed but I keep at it.

I want to shine for Him. He is the light who shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot comphrend it. Sarah
A good reminder to try and do our best to glorify God each day. I don't always succeed either. Thank God for his great mercy!

Is this light house a picture from your vacation? Which light is it?
Yes, this is so true. We must shine the light! I'm trying, though it is not always easy. Thanks for encouraging me, Andrea.
Beautiful post Andrea. Many Blessings,
I love the title "children of light". It says so much...we are both walking in the light and helping to shine it!
Your blog is such a peaceful and beautiful space to spend a few minutes
Hi Andrea,
Powerful post! Great reminder!
