What I Love About Summer!

The Beach! Being able to walk with my feet in the waters edge refreshes me. The ocean and all of it's treasures are one of my most favorite things about summer. Also, being able to share those treasures with family and friends!

Our two precious little ones learning to share! Savannah (left) and Keagan (right) have a beautiful bond!

I love spending time with my furry kids outside. Sitka is my baby!

Savannah sharing fresh "corn" with O'Papa!

The warm sunshine on a beautiful day and the innocence of our precious little Savannah!

Doug, Seth, Savannah, and Trouble enjoying a day of fishing!

WHEEEE...I can fly!

Our flowers....

Courtney (My sis), Jennifer (My Cousin), and I
(From left to right). This picture was taken in the spring after my Grandmother Bowling's funeral in SC.

Keli (My Cousin), Courtney (My Sis), and I

I was tagged by Kat at Chili-Pepper. Now it is my turn. Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures. Summer is a great time to share!

Now I will tag:

Leslie @ Writing For The Lord

Edie @ Rich Gifts

Rosel @ Off The Beaten Trek

Mary @ Piles Of Smiles

Charlene @ Bring On The Rain

If I have not tagged you, please feel free to participate. Thank you, Kat! This was fun.

Enjoying Summer,

Andrea, I love to run in the waves, and pick up shells and pretty stones. I do that at every beach I visit. Also love fishing with my husband and my garden. Your pictures send an essence of summer.

I remember some of the pics and they are still fun to look at today, as much as I saw them the first time! There are lots of fun things that happen at summer time...I love the brightness it brings after the long months of dark, blue winter. Thanks for the "tag"...The kids are so cute! God bless you sister. Love you in Christ.

Love these pics. Sharing is a hard thing for even adults to learn. :)

I live near the mountains. Can't wait to feel the ocean sand in Sept and Oct when I travel to Florida.

Great pictures, Andrea! What little cuties you have (human and furry). Lots to be thankful for.

I finally got the package out to Ellen today. It took me a bit to track those cds down and copy them! Hope she enjoys them.

Did I leave my comment, I do not see it. Maybe I have to retype it. :(

Well, here goes…
Hi there! I wanted to thank you for your nice comment on my blog!

I like the way you ended your post inviting all to participate; I may go back and add that to mine. Also, I like the way you changed the title to “What I Like About Summer” and left off the restrictive “5 Things”. There is so much good about summer, and it is difficult and not so much fun to limit it to 5 things.
I will be “seeing” you!

Lovely family, Andrea; thanks for sharing.
Summer is my favorite season, too.
I miss the ocean in CA, where we moved from ten years ago to come to IL. But the people here are good hearted and generous.

Great summer pics, lovely family. Your grandchildren are beautiful.

I remembered to pray for you last night as I was about to sleep, and for Sitka as well.

I also want to thank you for your comments to my Cory post. This post is probably among the more important ones I have written. Having stormed the heavens together with other intercessors for our nation, I deeply feel the loss of a historical figure like Cory. I still have to find a place and time to express my grief before God.

Selfless leaders like her are sadly missing from our modern day history. She's the only one I know of, and the hundreds of thousands of common people standing in the stormy weather waited for the funeral cortege to pass and candles that have been left in front of her residence in Quezon City... all attest to the love that the people have for her. Our nation has truly lost a mother who cares and who will fight for us.

It is time to wait upon God to see what He will do next.

Thank you for reading my post, caring, and showing interest.

Andrea, I'm from the Philippines so it's summer all year round! :) I'm back to blogging. I hope you get the chance to read my latest entry. And after doing so, I'd appreciate it if you'd pray for me and my little family. we're in deep need of prayers, Id appreciate if you asked your other Christian friends to pray for us as well. I really hope that everything falls into place in accordance to God's will. thank you and God bless :)

Andrea, I'm longing for the sea right now. Just to walk along its edges and watch the tides. In fact, dh and I are now thinking of a trip to a remote beach somewhere now that all is settled.

The pictures are absolutely beautiful! What a wonderful family the Lord has given you!

Little Savannah and Keagan are sooooo precious!!! And beautiful! You are blessed!

Thank you so much for standing with me in prayer! I appreciate your support and obedience to pray as you heard God's voice.

When I read you were praying, my heart seemed to leap with joy. It encouraged my husband and me. And, how I welcome your loving "I told you so!" :)

God is on the throne! And how He is worthy of our praise!

May He bless you, dear friend, many times over and over for your concern and prayer and His love that you share!

In His Faithful Love,
