Embracing New Adventures!

Each day is a new adventure! Sometimes the ground beneath us is lush and soft, sometimes prickly and a bit shaky. GOD promises to complete the good work HE began in each of us. HE is faithful to see us through! I pray each of us would have the heart of a little child. My grandson, Elijah has no fear of what lies ahead. He is eager to see the great big world and explore each part of it. Let us have the heart of a little child and "Go With GOD!"

Are you ready for what GOD has for you?

Are you embracing what lies ahead with eager expectation?

Embracing new adventures with a smile and a heart for what God wants,

Andrea

Oh Andrea, this reminds me so much of a passage of scripture I read last night that caused me to ponder how I was embracing the future. Romans 8:15 This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It's adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike "What's next Papa?. The Message.

I have to admit...I haven't exactly been "embracing" what lies ahead. We've had so much going on here, lately, that I have been guilty of dreading it.

Thank you so much for a much-needed word from God today!

Hugs...
P.S. Elijah is a little doll! :-)

Some days I just want it to be today.. Not looking for anything tomorrow.... Sounds like faith is lacking but not really..... Just resting and waiting on the Lord... Direction is everything.....

Great thought and yes... looking to the future with expectancy of what lies ahead.....

Thanks for sharing,

Your Grandson is so cute, and you are right. We should all be embracing life as a child does ( with a bit of adult wisdom too)trusting our Father, who is the perfect Father and only allows into our lives what He wills, sometimes it is hard to remember. Thanks.

After reading today's entry in "My Utmost for His Highest" I am formulating a post on just this topic, Andrea! I know God's Spirit is helping me to live joyfully TODAY. Confident in God & open to WHATever He has in mind.

Thanks for communicating this truth today.

Children teach us so many things. I'm learning from my grandson, too.

Lots of hugs across the miles!

precious precious little boy! I could just squeeze him! :)

yes... to have the heart of a child. I love it that Jesus loves the little children and uses them to teach us 'old guys' everyday.
