"Then GOD said, "Let the waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind." So GOD created great sea creatures and every living thing that scurries and swarms in the water, and every sort of bird-each producing offspring of the same kind. And GOD saw that it was good." Genesis 1:20-21I am fascinated with the intricacy, wondrous beauty, and detail of GOD's creation. I am especially drawn to the vast beauty of the ocean's sea creatures. The detail and seemingly perfectness of it all draws my attention. I love to visit aquariums and simply gaze at the animals. Time is lost for me as I ponder the life of each creature.
GOD obviously loved each of these creatures. He gave them magnificent beauty and made them in complex uniqueness. The colors on each of their bodies span the rainbow. It is only fitting for me to find application for my life during these visits.
GOD made me unique and loves me far beyond my comprehension. He has given me strengths and allowed weaknesses to mold me into the person He created me to be. He has given me a variety of friends so beautiful they span the colors of the rainbow and just as carefully as He placed the sea creatures in the ocean, He carefully placed me in the life I live today.
Growing in GOD's grace,
Andrea

I, too, am fascinated with God's creation and His handiwork. Thanks for this post! And, thank you for your encouraging comments on mine.
Love ya!
The detail is amazing isn't it...and just the human body alone---unreal. Praise be to our Creator.
Sometimes, I find myself just looking at the sunrise or sunset everyday and I'm just awed by that beauty...But to know that "we are created in His image", there is just no right word to express how much love He poured into creating us [and we don't even deserve it!]. Glory to God. Have a great day sis Andrea!
Andrea,
I too love looking not only at the ocean life under the water, but at the waves as well. It's funny as I was looking at a piece of sea glass on a beach in Oregon, what started out as something sharp and shiny, becomes soft and muted as the constant barrage of ocean waves take the glass from something that can hurt and turn it into something beautiful!
I could spend hours there. I can only hope that we will have oceans in heaven as I would love to live by one. Can't afford one here but in heaven hopefully God will gift me with one.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
Love this post! You're so right: we do need to view ourselves with the same awe and wonder as we do God's other creations:-)
I love how this is written, so precise and poetic. I, too, love the differences in sea creatures, and the Body of Christ as well. And I love the power of the ocean.
Bless you, my friend!
