Beautiful Inside and Out

For a week, I have struggled to breath (severe allergies and asthma). I have tried to keep up with life despite being sick. By Friday, I became frustrated and miserable. As I began reading the blogs I follow looking for a glimmer of encouragement I found much more.

Yesterday, God spoke to me through every blog I visited. Upon arriving at two different blogs I was given an award: You are Beautiful Inside and Out! Most days I do not feel very beautiful inside and out and certainly yesterday was one of them. These two sisters and many more have become prayer warriors, friends, and much more. Each of them touch my heart when I visit their blogs. They speak honestly, boldly, and deeply from within their being. They reach far beyond the norm of blogging and truly care about their followers. I am not a number to them. The genuineness you will find at these blogs will overwhelm you. Please stop by and visit them. Perhaps GOD will lead you to follow, as well.

Humble As I Go

Heart 2 Heart

As I pondered and prayed about passing this award to five bloggers who are beautiful on the inside and out God spoke to me. Each person who follows my blog fits this category. There is truly no way to choose. Today, I give this to each of you. I pray you will post it on your blog. You are all valuable in GOD's eyes. You are treasures of encouragement in my life. Thank you to each of my followers. May GOD bless each of you. May He use you in ways beyond your imagination.

Serving GOD with you,

Andrea

Attic Clutter: Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have gone in twice and tried to fix it. It may be a blogspot issue. Hopefully, I will get it fixed soon.

Andrea,

I have discovered your linking problem. When you click on the link to copy and paste, the form automatically has the http:// in the window, however when you copy and paste from the blog pages you want, you are added two http:// symbols.

I noticed it when I first tried to link and saw the error in the web address bar. It shows two http:// symbols in addition to the address you meant.

What I do is erase the first one in the link box and then copy and paste the full web address. It will work everytime.

Congrats as well because you so deserve it every day and not just when we get an opportunity to provide you with an award.

Love and Hugs ~ Kat

Thank you Kat...I am suffering from lack of O2 to the brain..still trying to breath. When I get home this evening (to my computer)..I will fix it. At least it is something simple.

My prayers go out to you! My oldest son suffers from allergies (both airborne and food), and I feel so badly for him. We've always known that he's allergic to cats, so we had him tested for dogs before we got one. It came back positive, but luckily he just doesn't seem to have the same reaction that he does to cats. (We did our own tests with him with the dogs of our friends' and neighbors'.) We couldn't afford one of those poodle mixes. Thankfully, he doesn't have a problem with the dog we did get.

Congrats on your most recent award, and thank you for the sweet comments that you leave for me!

Blessings and wellness to you!

Andrea,
I hope this helps:

Home Remedies For Allergies:

The following is an excerpt from…

Make at least one room a sanctuary. If you can't
afford central air and don't want to rip the
wall-to-wall carpeting out of every room in
your house, there's still hope. Make just one
room a sanctuary. "Most people spend the largest
part of their time at home in the bedroom," Dr.
Platts-Mills says. "Making just that one room a
mite-free area can do a great deal to alleviate
the allergy." Do it by air-conditioning the room
in summer, sealing it from the rest of the house
(keep the door closed), replacing carpets with
throw rugs,...

Home Remedies For Asthma:

The following is an excerpt from…
http://www.mothernature.com/Library/Bookshelf/Books/47/6.cfm

Listen to your lungs. Of course, the best way to
fight an asthma attack is to not have one in the
first place. "Recognize your own pattern," says
Dr. Ziering. "Be aware of what your early signs
of asthma are. When you see the warning signals
and you act right away, you will be able to ward
it off.

and paste links to your address bar. Also,
search Home Remedies for more helpful links.

If there’s anything that I can research for you,
feel free to let me know. God bless you. I am
praying for you.

P.S. Congratulations on your award. Thanks for
dropping by.

What a wonderful blessing you've received with this award...while we don't need it, it is always nice to know that people understand what we're trying to do and say and that they value it.

I hope you're feeling better by now.

Hey Andrea, I was left an award and asked to pass it on to 7 people. I left you one at www.gentlerecovery.blogspot.com. You are the absolute best.
