Thank you for all your prayers. We had a wonderful trip to Pennsylvania. We took the scenic route and absorbed the wonder of GOD's creation as we traveled. Friday was rainy and cold. Saturday was warm and beautiful.
I had planned to take pictures, but I did not take any while we were away. I am trying to recover from the long road trip. I hope to get back into the swing of blogging tomorrow.
I have a few prayer requests to share with you.
1)Frances Collins: Colton's grammy. She has stage 2 Lymphoma and is undergoing treatments at this time.
2)Colton: Pray for guidance as his family makes educational plans for next year.
3)My extended family (Bowling's): We could be the "poster child" for dysfunctional families. One of the significant problems is the lack of recognition that we have a problem. Being disjointed and having "no" relationship with one another is "normal" to many in my family. The choice to change must be in the heart of each individual. Those of us desiring a healthy family can not make the others comply. Only GOD can work to change. That being said....this is why I am beckoning prayers from around the world for my family.
As children and young adults we were not allowed to talk about it. We all were required to pretend our family was perfect. I am an adult now and no longer must live by those requirements. Please storm the heavens with me on behalf of my family.
May GOD bless each of you.
By HIS mercy and in the grip of HIS grace,
Andrea

Glad you had a safe trip! I was thinking about you on Friday with the way the weather was up here. We were in Reading that day with the kids for a WWII show and were completely soaked and muddy by the time we left. (I'll blog about it later.)
Praying for your family!
Great to hear you had safely made it back! Yes, will be praying for your requests. God bless and have a great rest.
Consider heaven stormed, sister!
Andrea,
Already sending heavenly prayers up to Jesus for response and answers! Glad you had a safe trip!

Andrea, I'm so glad your trip went well. I understand the family heartache, as mine is similar. I'll be praying.
Hugs and Prayers,

I totally understand your family request. I am the same way. I want every connection to be clear and alive. It takes a lot of work and a miracle from God. I'm praying for that miracle for you and for Colton's family, too. What helps me is not to believe what we see, but what His word says. He is a God of reconcilliation.
I was praying for this trip and it sounds like it was scenic. Glad you made it back safely. Rest now dear friend.
Love ya,
Mary
Thank you for letting us know so that we can pray for you! Isn't it wonderful to be able to take our worries, concerns, and desires to the Lord?
I didn't realize you were in PA--I'm from there myself and would love to go home for a visit. What part were you in?
So good to know you had a good trip and so good to know that our God is able to handle that request and more. I will be praying!
Welcome back... I am sure you enjoyed the scenery on the scenic route... your country is so beautiful, so beautiful. And in spring, even more so.
I will be praying for the requests you shared.
Be at peace.
Thanks for sharing.
Andrea,
As I read your heart felt list I prayed dear one. Many of us have situations in our extended families. It's often sad and at times painful and so we PRAY and trust in GOD for as you said ONLY HE CAN MAKE THE CHANGE. It takes willing hearts submitted to Him to be changed.
Love you.
