Never Alone

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior." Isaiah 43:2-3b

These verses have been near and dear to my heart for many years. Each time I read them, I am reminded, I am not alone. God never leaves or abandons me in any crisis. He is a Faithful Father.

I pray GOD will lift your burdens and comfort each of you.

Walking with Him,

Andrea

As a rep for the persecuted church I focus on the word "when"...when you go through persecution/pain/ poverty/ pain. We are not guaranteed a life free from these things but we have a God like a high secure fortress!

Amen!

I have always loved these verses and find them a great comfort. For there are times when He doesn't take away something but instead chooses to have us go through it instead, and He goes with us, ever faithful to strengthen us.

Then there are those times with He lifts that burden from us, and that is such a relief!

Re: your comment, I am still reminding my kids of that occasionally (and myself, lol!).

Why do I seem to so easily forget this? Thanks for the reminder. I am a new reader and I really enjoy your short but right to the point messages. I don't have time to do much reading but your blog is quick and focuses on what's important. Thank you.
And thanks also for your prayers. We all have our burdens and your prayer for us is truly meaningful.

There is a song called "No, Never Alone"... and now it's stuck in my head. Not a bad song to have stuck there though. =0)
