Pleasant Words

"Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones." Proverbs 16:24

Today will be another adventure. I am still experiencing computer issues and I must leave shortly for a dental appointment.

I look forward to reuniting with my dental bridge. My teeth and gums have been lonely this weekend. Hopefully, it will be securely glued in place and will not take any flying leaps from this point on. One adventure for my lower bridge is quite enough.

The above verse spoke to my heart today. "Pleasant words!" Are my words always pleasant? How are my words affecting others?

Let's aim for pleasant words, healing words, sweet to the soul of each person we meet.

Blessings and prayers,

Andrea

I need to memorize that verse. Hmmm, maybe a good one for the girls. We have been slackers concerning our memory verses.

Dear Andrea,
Have a pleasant reunion with your bridge, and praying all will go well with your day.

THe verse you quoted is do beautiful. I love verses that have to do with words, and especially for us who have blogs, the verse is a good reminder. May our words reflect the heart of our dear Father, for we are His ambassadors in everything we do and say.

How I Sitka doing I have remembered to pray for him.

Oh, yes, pleasant words. I can be reminded of that every day! I sure hope your dental appointment went well. I always pray for your health. Thanks for your prayers for me. Too much stress here, but I am learning so much by being stretched.

Hugs,
Mary

Saw your comment sis Andrea. Thanks. The other night, I went back to the 1st time I started blogging, you were the 1st one I got to know more and more and who kept encouraging me ever since. I am blessed, too with your friendship. I am grateful the Lord made us meet, temporarily here but someday, we'll be praising Him together! Have a good night.

Life is an adventure. Good luck with your dental work. I am so amazed at the blessings God has given us, for example, he gave someone the wisdom to make appliances for our mouth when our own hardware can't hold out.

Have a great day.

If I could only get my 14 year old to understand this verse! And that his tone of voice and body language also relay his attitude!

Every so often I dream that my teeth are falling out. What do you suppose that means?!
