Urgent Prayer Request

Please pray for our friend Ellen. She lives in Arkansas. She has a very serious condition in her left eye. These are her words:

"After 2 1/2 years the macular hole in my left eye has reopened and I am had surgery Thursday, July 23rd. I will be in "face down recovery" again for 2 weeks...ugh! Please keep me in your prayers that this time it will remain permanently closed and that this doesn't occur in my right eye. A scan showed signs of it developing there, but the doctor says he has seen this reverse in a small % of cases. This is the small % I want to be in! Ellen"

Storming the heavens on Ellen's behalf,

Andrea

Oh wow. Face Down Recovery does NOT sound fun at all. Poor thing.

I'll pray for her, too!

I will be praying for Ellen! Oh my!

Sweetie, I didn't mean to alarm you! At the end of the post you see it was a tongue and cheek announcement about hubby joining Facebook after we said we'd never do it.

Ellen is on my prayer list for healing. Are you still on vacation? Have fun by the ocean.

Father, God,
We ask your favor for Ellen. Grant her peace and serenity as she recovers from this surgery. Give her the grace to use this face-down time for prayer and drawing closer to you. We ask that you touch her other eye and seal the hole trying to develop there. What is impossible for man is possible for you. Grant that this time - though it looks fallow - may be a time of regeneration and renewal for Ellen, so that she comes to her feet again, ready to serve you. Whole in body, mind and spirit.
In Jesus' most precious name.
Amen.

Andrea,

Please pass along my prayers to Ellen. I am asking for God's healing hands on both of her eyes that when the recovery is over, she will be completely healed.

A lady in our church had this done right after the first of the year.

Father...please be with Ellen and her surgeon. I ask for a speedy recovery and that Your fingerprints would be evident. Amen.

Have lifted Ellen up for healing and comfort. Facedown recovery sounds quite miserable. Do you want a prayer button for Ellen?

I also wanted to thank you for your comment today. It really blessed my heart.

Enjoy the rest of your vacation and be sure to bring home a gift for Sitka. He might be expecting one now. *grin*

Father I pray for Ellen that the eye just operated on will heal beautifully, and that the restoration will be complete after two weeks. I pray that the time of recovery that she will go throught will be such a sweet time of communion with you. May she go through it willingly and gracefully.

Please grant her request that she be in the 1% of cases that heal completely. In Jesus name I speak health and restoration to both eyes, for your glory. Amen
