Forever Changed

"Make the Master proud of you by being good citizens. Respect the authorities, whatever their level; they are God's emissaries for keeping order. It is God's will that by doing good, you might cure the ignorance of the fools who think you are a danger to society. Exercise your freedom by serving GOD, not breaking the rules. Treat everyone you meet with dignity. Love your spiritual family. Revere GOD. Respect the government." 1 Peter 2:12-17 (The Message)

Today, I pause to remember the families who were affected by the tragedy of 9/11 and are forever changed. May GOD continue to heal and restore the hearts of those who lost love ones. May HE continue to heal and restore our nation.

Forever Changed,

Andrea

I just commented on another site, we are forever scarred. But we must keep our trust in the Lord and that He is in control, no matter what. May the Lord comfort these loved ones left behind and protect all who serve this great nation. Blessings to you sister. Have a great weekend. Remembering you in my prayers today. Love you in Christ.

Thankfully, scripture strengthens us when we grieve or face difficulty, For by spending time processing what our Heavenly Father says, that we are reminded how much he loves us and can handle whatever challenge comes our way.

Such a somber presence filled my home this morning as I watched parts of the memorials.

Truly, our heavenly Father would have us remember and continue to pray for our country and those who must daily live with personal loss and grief.

Thank you for sharing...and for compassionate writing.

Blessings,

Andrea

Andrea,

What a great day to remember what happened that fateful day 8 years ago by keeping God close to our hearts and lifting prayers to the heavenly throne room today.

Indeed as individuals, families, churches and nations we are forever changed. But isn't it interesting to see how it has affected those with the everlasting hope versus those still hopeless without our Lord?

Thank you for your reminder. We have so much in this country for which to be thankful and I sometimes feel that 9/11 was a wakeup call. We in this country often take much for granted and fail to remember that we are not infallible. I truly appreciate your blog and the insight you share.

God Bless,
Mimmy
