Standing On The Solid Rock

This picture reminds me of standing on CHRIST, the solid rock! As we stand on the faith we so cherish we also live as an example to our children and grandchildren. It takes courage to stand on "CHRIST, the solid rock!" Often, life takes us close to the edge. We must not allow fear to overtake us or interfere with our faith. When life gets a little to close to the edge for you, take a big breath and enjoy the view, knowing GOD will hold you firmly to HIS solid rock~ Christ!

Standing on the solid rock and living life close to the edge,

Andrea

Andrea:

This could be the same picture with my hubby and one of ours... so it gave such a good visual image of the solid rock. How blessed we are!

Hugs my friend!

Is this your hus? I love this sweet photo.

My life seems often "on the edge." I know the Lord holds me tight, and I'm so grateful. Praying I learn to run to Him more often than I fear.

Yes, without Him, we would just be standing on quicksand. Amen, and keep on writing.

I once read an Indian saying... if you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room. There's something to be said for that, life as a Christian, living on the edge of now and the hereafter. Like Daddy says, "I'm ready to go but I'm not homesick." -smile-
