Are You Withered?

"As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O GOD." Psalm 42:1

We, like deer depend on water as our source for life. Deer and human alike must physically have water to sustain us. A human can only survive approximately three days without fluids, before death.

Our lives are dependent on GOD! In light of the comparison in this passage; what would happen to those who go three days with out spiritual water supply? The withering begins!

If you feel withered and alone, reach for GOD, your spiritual water supply. Do not allow the separation to continue.

Longing and thirsting for my Lord,

Andrea

Thank you for sharing this nice pic which made your post more powerful! Thank you for reminding us of our weakness, but thanks be to God, "we can do everything in Christ's strenght!." More power to you and God bless always. Hugs and prayers.

Love your pictures on both your blogs! We truly will die of thirst if we allow our spiritual lives to wither. Our flesh so stubbornly wants to insist that it can go it alone, but walk with God we must, if we hope to have life at all!

Wonderful post. We need to drink and feed from His Word, keep in contact with other Christians for prayer support and encouragement, and we need to also go to church to hear the Word as well. That's how I keep my spiritual water supply to the brim and overflowing, because you are right, we will begin to wither in every sense of that word.

Peace and Blessings,
Alleluiabelle

Thank you for the reminder for the need for both our water for our own healthy bodies as well as our spiritual water as well. Time to go and get a big glassful of each!

Thank again for a beautifully inspired post!
