"Created For Purpose"

"You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mothers womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous-how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! and when I wake up, you are still with me." Psalm 139:13-18

God has a perfect plan and purpose for each of us, yet time and time again we question Him and drag our feet. Psalm 139 is one of my favorite scripture passages, because it reminds me of GOD's love and presence in my life.

If ever in doubt, I read and reread this passage. My heart quivers as I ponder the new adventures He has in store for each of us. Swing open the floodgates, Lord; we eagerly anticipate your good will and purpose for our lives.

By HIS mercy and in the grip of HIS grace,

Andrea

This has long been one of my favorites. I feel at the same time so small and yet so protected and valued:-)

I've been using the NLT a lot lately, too. I want to use the word 'fresh' to describe how the Word is translated in the NLT.

Blessings

I am a newcomer to your blog. Your postings are very deep and heartfelt. I, too, use the NLT and have used it since I became a Christian 8 years ago. I will be checking out your site daily as it is very inspirational and though provoking.

Peace to you,
Alleluiabelle
