"Wilted and Fading"

"The Lord is like a father to His children, tender and compassionate to those who fear Him. For He knows how weak we are; He remembers we are only dust. Our days on earth are like grass; like wildflowers, we bloom and die. The wind blows, and we are gone- as though we had never been here. But the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear Him. His salvation extends to His children's children of those who are faithful to His covenant, of those who obey His commandments." Psalm 103:13-18

As the wildflower within me fades away, my Heavenly Father will unveil my eternal body and home. My earthly being is fragile, but my eternal body awaits! One day, I will leave the "dust" behind-as though I had never been here.

We often spend our days fretting over worldly possessions, financial woes, physical illness, and yes, even gossip. At the end of the day...what a waste.

Our Heavenly Father is waiting for each of us to surrender our problems and "LEAVE" them with Him. If He is capable of preparing a new life for me, beyond this life, why do I distrust Him by hording my problems and not releasing them?

If you feel as though your very being is wilting in an untimely manner, I pray you will allow our Heavenly Father to strengthen and renew your being, preparing you for the remainder of your earthly journey.

Watered and renewed by the Ultimate Source of Life,

Andrea

Hi Andrea,
I really relate to this psalm. Through many trials I have gone gone through, I have finally learned to "LEAVE" all my burdens with Him. He never gives us more than we can handle, but sometimes the load is far too heavy to ever bear alone. Even when I feel a bit anxious over something, I've learned to give it and Leave it with Him. That is surely what He wants us all to do.

I'm glad you stopped by my site. I thought you would like our old time faithful friend.

Hugs & Blessings,
Alleluiabelle

When my father was dying back in 2007, I knew it was the Lord's love that sustained us all through that difficult ordeal. The people who came to visit him was awed by how my father, my brothers and I were overwhelmed with joy despite him facing death at any time. Talking about a "powerful testimony" right at that moment! But to God be the glory, honor and praise. Thank you sister for this nice post. I appreciate you always coming by my site and always encouraging me. God bless.

Great post again Andrea! I love feeling a sense of renewal that only God can provide. I have to rest in His peace that He alone will continue to take care of me and nothing I face I do so alone! He is always with me!

Love, Kat
