Monday, my husband spent the morning planting two new rose bushes. He worked carefully preparing the the holes to prevent the voles from eating the roots of his new roses. As he worked, our 23 month old grand baby played close by.
Soon it was time for Savannah to come inside and Doug needed another tool from the garage. As he returned to work on his rose garden, he was shocked. He could not believe the vision laying before him. In the place where Savannah had been playing was a copperhead. It was over two feet long and over an inch in diameter.
We are extremely blessed. Certainly, our Heavenly Father was protecting Savannah and everyone who came close to this poisonous snake. We are praising GOD for His protection.
How many times does danger lurk close by and we do not know it? We must be on guard. We need a keen eye and a deep faith. We also must remember, our precious GOD is greater than any situation that may arise in our lives.

OMG...Thank the Lord for keeping Savannah safe, and your husband! I so know this feeling, Andrea. God is so good to us, to keep us protected. I pray this over all my family every day and night.

I have nightmares about my grandson being hurt. God really was so good to you all that day. We need to be praying more for protection for our families.
Thank you for continued prayers for us. We take each day at a time and we told each other again on Sunday that if we believe what we say we do about God, we need to wait on his timing and trust him more than we do somedays. But we are human it some days--well-- it takes more than we think we have. But so far so good. No lookers at my house yet as I know it is priced high but for now that is ok.

OH MY...Thank God He was looking out for all of you. He is so wonderful!! Thank you for stopping by and visiting me and the Five Moms. Wow, five kids. I know how hectic that can be. I have four sisters. My poor parents...(hahaha) But I love having all my sisters.
