Knit Together By GOD

"O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I am far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand! I can never escape from your spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the fartherest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night-but even in darkness I can not hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you. You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous-how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Everyday of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!"
Psalm 139:1-18

Amazed by HIS grace,

Andrea

Andrea,

I love this psalm! It reminds me how important we all are to our Lord even during the creation process.

I actually was reading is Psalm 139 last night. I love thinking that darkness and light are the same to Him.

Sometimes we have difficulties and struggles, and in the struggles things look kind of bleak, and dark to us.

The path seems difficult, the way is not lit, and it can feel like you are walking in darkness, because you can't see what He's doing.

But to Him, all is light. All is lit! There is no darkness. Isn't that awesome! So we're really not walking in the darkness, from His perspective we're walking in the Light. And the Light is Him!

He is so close to his children. He knows when we stand and sit. What a father! He's always looking after us. What love!

oh Andrea! This is my favorite psalm! I read it every night to my "baby" in the womb. I did this for both of my boys.

;)How good it is to know our worth in the eyes of the Almighty!

Dearest Andrea,

This is one of my favorite Psalms too. I so love children and when I think of the awesomeness of Who He Really Is, it blows me away every time. The creation of life in the womb, created long before by His hand, it brings me to tears every single time. As I just experienced again new life, new birth of my 6 month old grandson, experiencing each pregnancy and birth with my daughter, the gift of life is truly a miracle from Him.

Thank you for bringing me to this Psalm today, it is so powerful and makes my heart beat more in sync and in love with Him.

I love you dear, special friend.

Hugs, Peace, Love & Prayers,
Alleluiabelle
