My Strength and Hope

Today, has proven to be a frustrating day. My laptop has been acting crazy. I could not get in to post, until now. Someone tried multiple times to send my facebook account a virus. I deleted, but the continued hassle was frustrating. My husband ran a virus scan and indeed my laptop is okay. I felt insecure about the process. My husband then called our computer person and friend, who reassured me....my computer should be fine.

The hassle of today, reminded me of fighting the enemy. He is sneaky. He doesn't normally waltz through the front door, but slimely slivers his way through the back. We must be prepared.

First, we must have a relationship with our Heavenly Father. Second, we must be in constant communion with HIM. Third, we must not allow anything or anyone to distract us from our LORD, His will, and His plan for our life.

"The Lord rescues the godly; He is their fortress in times of trouble." Psalm 37:39

"He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless." Isaiah 40:39

There is hope in these trying times.

"Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble and keep on praying." Romans 12:12

"I pray that GOD, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust Him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. " Romans 15:13

Finding hope in HIM,

Andrea

Beautiful encouragement, Andrea! Thank you! The enemy is sneaky, that's for sure. But God cannot be fooled!!!!

Thank you for your sweet comments, my friend!

Hi Andrea,
A virus is a great analogy for the enemy. I can so relate. I was afraid I would not be able to read your post because Explorer kept shutting me down on it. Hope I can post this comment!

The Psalm 37 scripture was the one I hung on to as I left for my trip. I needed 2 miracles of reconcilliation and it looked hopeless, but I kept at it and both parties met with me! We had a great time.

Thank you for your kind messages of love and your prayers. I know you understand the importance of relationships after what you faced a while back.

I cherish you, my friend!

Hugs,
Mary

Hi Andrea,
It wasn't easy for me either to access
this blog. And this has been the case
with other blogs as well.

I hope all goes well with blogging.

God bless you,
Nita

Oh he is sneaky! He just needs a sliver and and takes over.

I had trouble with blogs and Internet connection a week or so ago. I changed over from Explorer to Firefox. It's going much better now. I know what you mean about the hackers...it's frustrating to say the least!

Have a blessed day, my friend.

Yep, Satan is sneaky just like a pesky Trojan virus :o) I agree!!!

Speaking of that, a virus hit my laptop about a month or two ago. It has never been the same since :( you'll be okay, just be smart with your downloads and check each e-mail carefully before accepting!

I agree with Marsha, Firefox rocks. It'll notify you if you are visiting a suspicious site :) it's basically the "Holy Spirit" for computers :D

I went through the same thing few weeks ago. I just go through Firefox like what others had mentioned since the Internet Explorer is having problems. It was quite frustrating but just like being in the Lord, we just never give up because we have all these wonderful promises of His enduring love and protection. TO God be the glory! And I pray that there will be no more hassles like that for all of us. God bless and love you sister!

This was beautifully constructed! I know the feeling myself - have had a few laptop issues myself but I am so happy that now I seem able to leave comments :-)

Hope is one of the things in this life that has kept me going.

Without hope...life is not worth living. There is nothing to live for!

Thanks for this post.

your god honouring blog is very powerful and helpful, it shouldn't seem strange that SOMEONE doesn't want it...namely the enemy himself!
