Seasons of Life

"A time to love, and a time to hate; A time for war, and a time for peace." Ecclesiastes 3:8 (NAS)

Life is full of battlefields and rescue stations. During those difficult stormy seasons, know there will be seasons of refreshment and renewal to come. Enjoy the times of peace and beauty.

Finding refreshment,

Andrea

I am so thankful that we have a father who is always there with us during our hardships and patient as we struggle.

I enjoy watching our Earth as she goes into her seasons as well. To me it is a great reminder of our growth in christ. With each season change we are able to see the physical challenges of what earth will endure during each season. [Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Earthquakes, Snow Storms, Fires, etc.] All are necessary for growth.

Just like Earth we endure our challenges and storms during our season of Growth. So to me it is very encouraging to watch each year and season change. It reminds me to be strong and know that it is necessary for growth in Christ and He will always be walking through it with me.

Spring/Fall are my favorites. Both reminde me that in Christ we must learn to die to allow Christ to live within us. Thus allowing many storms to come through and uproot our ways and teach us to lean more on him. Then comes time for a fresh and new growth in Christ. What a wonderful experience each season as we grow closer and deeper in our relationship with Christ!
He is just so amazing to me! ;) Thanks for sharing Andrea, Have a blessed day!

Two things I love about your post today. I love that picture. It reminds me of Myrtle Beach and the great vacations we had there. Also, I love Ecc.3. It's one of my all-time favorite scriptures. Such a comfort and such beauty. Do you know the song Turn,Turn,Turn? It is just this whole chapter and it is gorgeous. I bet some young people have never heard it and that's too bad.
