Beach and Blog Radio

Greetings, hugs, love, and prayers from The Perdue Zoo. We are enjoying a week at God's beautiful Frisco Beach, Hatteras Island, North Carolina. The first 2 days have been unbelievably wonderful and we look forward to the beauty of each day through out the week.

Tomorrow, Monday, February 22, 2010, I will be interviewed at She Speaks To Inspire Blog Radio, by Laurie Zieber (talk show host). She is doing a series on God's call to ministry. I will be discussing our call into Dog Therapy. If you would like to listen, it will air at 5 pm Central Time/6pm Eastern Time. The link is: www.blogtalkradio.com/rlrn

I thank you ahead of time for your prayers!

Enjoying HIS presence,

Andrea

PS: Thanks to each of you for your continued prayers for Amden (and his parents) and for my DIL, Jennifer. Your prayers are felt and very much appreciated.

Dearest Andrea, here you are on a great journey to enlighten others via radio and still taking the time to be thoughtful and thinking of your fellow bloggers. Thank you for stopping by and visiting me -- you never cease to lift me up with your prayers, kindess and words of support.

First of all, you all look so relaxed and beautiful in the picture above -- and could your furry family members be anymore lucky??? And Beautiful???? That husky alone is to die for but I have a very big place in my heart for all animals as I know you do also. What a talent you have to be able to heal what ails them, when our furry family members can't tell us what's wrong, you're there with your gift to help people have a better understanding.

And Amden will be a very lucky little boy with so many who are praying for him and loving him. I know Down Syndrome is a scary diagnosis but many lead productive, happy lives and he will show his reasoning for being here and prove that the stigma of down syndrome is just that.

I hope your daughter-in-law is finding the strength to get her through this horrible tragedy she is sadly having to endure. Estranged or not, that is indeed a loss and one that came with shock. No one deserves or expects that -- she's blessed to have such a warm mother-in-law who shares her grief so others can pray and/or send their well wishes.

I just needed to catch up on everyones blogs this week since I was absent much of last. I am always so happy to have stopped by to see you and feel doubly blessed when you come to see me.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation, sweet lady -- it is well deserved.

Peace and serenity,
~Jo
