Embracing Peace

"Embrace peace-don't let it get away." Psalm 34:14b The Message

Some days in our lives are more difficult than others. Often, we are faced with tremendous decisions. These life decisions try our patience and challenge our sanity. We can become caught up in the process or we can choose to embrace peace! The choice is ours. God allows us the freedom to live out our lives as we choose. However, HE desires the best for us. HE offers peace, love, mercy, and forgiveness. Each are ours, if we ask!

Today, amidst the trials and difficulties of this life, I choose peace.....perfect peace....HIS peace!
What about you? Will you leave your burdens at HIS feet?

Embracing HIS peace,

Andrea

Andrea, Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for all your kind words and prayers! You are so sweet!

I have chosen to leave all my burdens at HIS feet. Doing so has given me such comfort knowing I have given ALL my burdens over to the Lord, and he has, in return given me such beautiful Embracing Peace... Thank You Lord Jesus!!

Good words Andrea. I choose peace and joy! I had it at the beginning of the day. I lost if for a little...but hubby and I prayed together and I've got it back again. I just have to keep going back and giving everything back to the Lord again. It's a process, but I'm learning.

Thanks for the reminder.

Andrea,

As stressed out as our lives can become, I choose God's peace, the kind that passes all understanding. It is the best place to be in the midst of all chaos.

As always Andrea you lifted me when I needed to be. I saw the inside of my home today after the renters moved out and I am devastated at how it looks. So thank you for sharing this post and helping me find some peace before I go to bed tonight.

This was a PERFECT post for me today!

I noticed you lived in Chester! One of my sisters lives there and I was just there over a few days with my son and nephew. We were house/dog sitting.

I'm home now. Still not too far.....Mechanicsville.

I'm so far behind on my emails that I haven't checked them in AGES. Last time I did I had over 1800...really. Most were junk. One day I'll get caught up and then I can start emailing people.

Have a great day!

Dearest Andrea,

Love you my friend. You know that I will choose His Peace at all times. Even though at times in the flesh when stresses and so much more are hitting us so hard, deep within my heart I am His and His grace gives me the purest peace that can ever be found. Resting in Him is the only place to be.

Love this post and your heart.

Hugs,

Nice. I choose peace. Last night I had a problelm. As I was thinking it over, wondering if I should be worried or not, the Lord gave me a scripture and that took care of that. Praise Him for His peace.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and checking on Hope. She went to the dr. yesterday and is scheduled to have stitches removed early next week. So far, this physician said things are looking good .. I'm working on a new blog about Hope. Hopefully I can get it done amidst baseball practices, work and lots of other good things. God Bless, Aine :)

I love either that verse in an older translation or another verse but the one in my head is "Seek peace and pursue it....."
Woe what a task.

I believe that embracing peace is the better way to go. It would be in other words "To go with the flow." Just to let things take course on its own and leave it God's hand.
