Prayer For Friends!

"Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much." James 5:16 NAS

Let us not forget the best gift we can give our friends is prayer!

Thank you for this scripture. I find so many times in my walk, when I confess my struggle with someone, it's like it comes out in the open..and healing can begin...blessings dear one.

So wonderful to feel the sin, confess the sin, feel the forgiveness and KNOW there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are IN Christ Jesus.

a perfect post for my day right now.. God knows the healing, and the Redemption that can take place from a relationship thats been built on sin.. And He will lift us up, all of us, when we bring our heaviest burden to Him. He will be the Eyes we need to see clearly with, and He will show renewed beauty to those who have lost sight of all He has called us to be as His Princess.. I trust Him in seeing me, just as He created me to be.. Thank you sister for this very post, today.

Yes, and amen. We never like to say, "I guess all we can do now is pray." To pray is the best thing we can do!

Love you, sis,

Alleluia!!

Prayer is so powerful and important. When my husband was going through treatment for cancer I could literally feel that I was being held up through the grace of God...sustained through prayer.

Great post!

Isn't that the truth! The older I get the more I treasure prayers - those said FOR me, and those I pray for others. It's such a powerful weapon, yet often left unused until all else fails.

Blessings & prayers,
Kathleen

Yes! I'll never forget the time my neighbor, whom I didn't know very well, asked if she could pray for my family and me during a time of illness and strife. I was so floored by her generosity.

I missed visiting here during my Lenten social media hiatus -- it's good to be back!
