"But for me, I will watch expectantly for the LORD; I will wait for the GOD of my salvation. My GOD will hear me. Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy. Though I fall I will rise; Though I dwell in darkness, the LORD is a light for me." Micah 7:7 NAS"But me, I'm not giving up, I'm sticking around to see what GOD will do. I'm waiting for GOD to make things right. I'm counting on GOD to listen to me." Micah 7:7 The MessageNo matter the storm, watch eagerly for your LORD!

It is a psychological truth. We see what we look for. We hear what we listen for.
Once two friends walked a busy city street. One, a Lakota elder, suddenly stopped, turned, and bent by a store front. He reached out and plucked a cricket from a crevise, depositing in a curb-side planter.
The other friend shook his head. "You heard a cricket in all this racket?"
The elder pulled a fifty cent piece out of his pocket and flipped it up so that it bounced on the sidewalk in front of them. A dozen passers-by turned around at the sound.
The Elder smiled sad. "You hear what is important to you."
Michah asks us to make the Lord important in our lives each day. Thank you for reminding us of that.
Have a day blessed with the sound of His voice and the sight of His hand in your surroundings, Roland
Thank you, dear Andrea. How did you know I am in a storm right now? I will wait for Jesus to rescue me.

There are MANY seasons of waiting in our lives, but how we wait makes all the difference. I've done it both ways... God's way is ALWAYS better, 'watching expectantly!'
